Hey! I noticed that some effects (Inner and outer glow, stroke and drop shadow) are not visible in my document. They do, however appear in the style preview window. However, other effects like satin, color overlay and gradient overlay are visible. I provided a screenshot illustrating my problem if the explanation didn't make any sense. I'm a total photoshop noob, by the way, so if this answer is totally obvious, sorry. :/

Is that text layer or shape layer?
1) Shape layer might have another stroke which can be above style stroke.
2) Is you style stroke inside or outside? What is blending mode of stroke?
3) I see in layers panel "advanced blending" icon. If you look into blending options tab. What is unusual?

Shape layer. It doesn't have any other strokes on the layer as far as i can see, the style stroke is inside and blend mode is overlay and i cant see much unusual with the blending options tab.

ad 3) there is several checkboxes... probably "two squares icon" is there beacause some of them are not in default state. Some of them may affect style effects look.

Overlay blend mode won't show up on a black background, so you'll need to change that...
