Smart Filters operating not in stack

It would be nice if Smart Filters (SF) in Smart Objects (SO) could operate in parallel and not in series.
That is, given a single SO with two SF (say, Median and Gaussian Blur), the first is applied to the original, the second is applied to the result of the previous filter. This is the reason why if you change the order of the SF, the result changes as well.

It would be sometimes useful if the SF could operate both on the original image, leaving to blending modes the... actual blending. Hopefully next versions of Photoshop may integrate this preference... ;-)
Thanks
