I’m facing an issue where the upload speed from my desktop to the cloud is very slow. I have a 100 megabit upload connection yet only see an upload rate of 5.5 to 11 megabit upload speed over the past 2 days. I’m attempting to upload around 300 gigabytes of photos and it’s taking a very long time. When I used Apple Photos I would see around 50-70 megabit upload speed. Why is it so slow? Is there any configuration I can make changes for Adobe to allow for more upload bandwidth? My configuration is storing originals on a NAS and the catalog locally on my Mac. I have a gigabit connection to my NAS. Speed test:

Does Adobe have a bandwidth limit posted somewhere?

Okay! So the issue wasn’t with the Adobe upload but rather with my Mac’s network setup to the NAS.

I was using SMB rather than AFP. Seems like SMB doesn’t play nice with Lightroom CC on the Mac.

Once I switched to AFP it worked like a charm.
