Slow / laggy tone curve in Lightroom Classic CC

After updated to Classic CC from previous version, I noticed that point curves tool has become really choppy/laggy.
It is nothing but usable. The changes are updated to the picture only when dragging of the curve is stopped for long enough time.

The strange thing is that parametric curve works fine as does other sliders as far as I have noticed.
When GPU acceleration is disabled, the point curve tool works better but with CPU it's really choppy and without GPU acceleration many other tools will suffer.

Following video shows the problem.

I have Geforce GTX1050Ti GPU, i7-2600K CPU with 16GB RAM. The caches, system and catalog are stored in fast SSD drive.

I tried various drives but problem remains.

Thank you for pointing this out to other customers. Obviously, there are new performance issues in the newly released LR.

I found root cause for bug. If there's couple or more curve presets (like VSCO) installed at Camera RAW's curves directory (on windows: AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Curves), then Lightroom's tone curve becomes laggy.

It seems that the more curves there are in the preset drop down menu, the slower curves will work.
