Lightroom CC (2015) does not recognize my Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4 DC HSM C013 (Contemporary) lens on my Pentax K-5 II. It is reported as "Unknown Lens". The Lens ID, according to PhotoME, is "8 30". Please update the lens database to recognize this lens.

Hi Matthew,

Would you be able to post a sample raw image to a location where I can download it and have a look at this myself?

DropBox or similar will do.

Thanks,

- Chris

Thanks, Matthew. This will need to be addressed in a future update of Lr.

In the meantime, you should be able to select "Sigma" as the lens Make and the lens will be located. Once you've done that you can choose "Save New Lens Profile Defaults" from the Setup menu above "Make."

That will provide a hint to the auto match logic in the lens profile lookup and allow images taken with this lens to match when enabling profile corrections.

Hi Matthew,

This is fixed now for the next release of Lr/Camera Raw. I cannot share a specific timeline for the release so stay tuned.

Regards,

- Chris
