Lightroom: Shutdown after import and generate previews

With how long it can take to import images and generate previews, depending on how many photos are on a card, this can take well over an hour, sometimes longer if things aren't doing too well. The amount of resources used to make the previews makes multitasking difficult and frustrating. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has thought this, but importing a large batch is seems best done over night when not using the computer. Unfortunately, this could then leave the computer on for several hours not doing anything. Which is a bit wasteful.
My thought is to implement a checkbox feature on the import menu, possibly near the "build preview" settings that allows the user to request that after the images have been imported, and the previews (I select 1:1 previews for quicker work flow) built that Lightroom then initiates a system shutdown/sleep/hibernate to save power and for some, stop the droning of fans and harddrives in our bedrooms when trying to sleep (I'm a hobbyist with my equipment in my bedroom and really don't want my laptop whiring all night).

Yes, agreed! Would be absolute cool and should be easy to implement.
