I would like to hide (or show) individual modules in Lightroom. I only use Library and Develop and couldn't care less about all the other modules listed top right (Print, Web, etc) - so I'd like to hide the names of those I don't use.

LR 4 has this (right-click).

specifically, right-click on the module picker bar, and uncheck the modules you don't want to see.

Thanks. I tried that to no avail (right clicking over the module picker bar has no effect at all) and I couldn't find any options in any of the menus. I'm running LR3.6 on Mac. Right... after some digging around seems it's a new feature in LR4. Not ready to upgrade yet so will live with it. Thanks...

Yes Stas,

The ability to turn off a module is new in Version 4 as you found.

In Lr 3 you can move the XXX.lrmodule out of the installation directory somewhere else and that module will no longer be available. I recall the main app enumerates the lrmodules there, and presents a link to it.

Alternatively, you can just hide the titlebar that has the labels to those modules. If you do not click them, they are not loaded by the app. Or modify the fonts used to build those labels (I think this supported in the preferences? Or is this a hack I remembered...?)

By accident I hid that module toolbar. Do you know how to unhide it? I really want my module toolbar back!

The entire tool bar is hidden or revealed by clicking on the small gray triangle at the top center of the interface.
