I have a new 27" 5k iMac running El Capitan, and have just bought Elements 14 (physical version), but I see there are reports of it not working. I'm unsure whether to install it, would it likely have problems functioning as a clean install on a new mac?

Elements 14 is supported on El Capitan.

That said, I don't recommend that customers upgrade to a new OS without doing their own testing to ensure that it will work for their needs with their current hardware and drivers.

If it's not obvious, you should never upgrade your critical production environment before testing. Always use a separate partition or drive.

I also recommend that you do a clean install of the OS and your software.

Thanks for your reply. OK I'll give it a go and see what happens, it is a brand new computer so it would be a clean install anyway. Cheers.

Yup. You should be good to go then.
