I figured out when I customize a shortcut involving the key "<", like
ctrl+<
ctrl+shift+<
alt+ctrl+<
alt+ctrl+shift+<
this shortcut is not saved for the next time i lauch photoshop.
In fact, the key "<" is replaced by "&" when I restart photoshop. sot ctrl+< becomes ctrl+&
I saw someone else using photoshop having the same problem. we used this shortcut for different options.
In case of, I and the one with the same problem are both using AZERTY keyboards (french keyboard)

Howdy Gontran,

Well, there are a couple things going on here.

First, for a regular US keyboard, the < and > are shifted characters and thus never available as shortcuts, since we only record the unshifted value of a key.

Second, for a AZERTY keyboard, if you have an actual 102 keyboard, then you should be able to use < and I just verified in the latest release on Win10 that this works fine.  I actually used CNTRL+<, CNTRL+SHIFT+<, CNTRL+ALT+<, and CNTRL+SHIFT+ALT+<.  You will have to set the keyboard to French for the operating system to correctly pass the key stroke to Photoshop -- we only act on what the OS tells us, so if you're set to English, the < key is \, which is not usable as a shortcut key.

Finally, yes, you are correct, for some inexplicable reason, after shutting down Photoshop and relaunching, the <s are transformed into &s.  That is really annoying and definitely a bug, which I've just logged.  I'm not sure what triggered this problem, but rest assured that we'll get it fix ASAP.  Thank you for bring this issue to our attention and sorry for any hassle this has caused you.

Thanks,
David
