The only Lightroom shortcut I use was Shift+S for comparing the original image with my edit on the developing mode and it doesn't longer exist! Why?! It's so annoying having to compare with the left-right options and so... :( Any idea for solving this?!

Hi Fernando,

Which version of Lightroom are you using? In develop module to switch between edited image and original image try using "\" (Key). If you want to review original and edited image side by side use "Y", "Shift+Y", "Alt+Y" (for different views of before/after )

Is the Shift+S used to work for you in Develop module? Is it your custom shortcut?

Thanks,
Ganesh

Thank you both for replying!
I heard it's with the "\" (Key), the problem is that I use a latin keyboard, so for getting the "\" I have to press Alt+'  , so I don't have a special key for that slash,
I use the "7.4 Release - Camera Raw 10.4" version, I believe this is the last one, as I update periodically.

The Shift + S used to work at least for the last 2 years, I just realized I cannot use it anymore and I cannot even find the option on the upper panel of Lightroom.

Is it even posible to create custom shortcuts in Windows version? I understood it wasn't.

Thanks again!

"Is it even possible to create custom shortcuts in Windows version?"

You can manually define custom keyboard shortcuts by editing the TranslatedStrings file. See this article for how to do that:
https://www.lightroomqueen.com/custom-keyboard-shortcuts/

For Develop before/after, you'll want change this line:

"$$$/AgDevelop/Menu/View/BeforeAfter/Before/Key=Shift+v"
This defines Before/After to be Shift+V, but you can change it to whatever shortcut is convenient.
