If an album is shared via the iOS app, then when shared in the web gallery (going via the web interface), the album is no longer visible in the iOS app when selected the Shared Albums list at top left.

I am not able to follow your steps here. Could you give me more details, step-by-step?

When I share an album on iOS, it appears in the Shared Albums on LrWeb

Hi,
While first in the iOS LR app,
- I create an album and assign pitture
- then mark the album shared.
- if I select the Shared Album icon (two people icon in top left), I’ll see the album in the list of shared album.

Then when I go in the Web Portal,
- go to the web gallery
- assign that album to the web gallery
- from within the web portal, the album will be part of the shared albums list

Then go back into the IOS LR app
- when selecting the Shared Albums icon, that album will no longer be in the list of shared albums
- however if check the settings on the album, it will still show shared.
- if the sharing option. Is removed and added again, it still does not show in the shared album list.

Hope this helps identify the album. Also hoping that you add the option to view and modify the Web Gallery, or at least to assign the album to the Web Gallery from within the iOS app.

Note that IO’m using a trial version of LR CC.

I am unable to follow you here:

Then when I go in the Web Portal,
- go to the web gallery
- assign that album to the web gallery
- from within the web portal, the album will be part of the shared albums list

When you say "assign..." what are you doing? (when I run your steps, it is already assigned when I get there because it's shared status has synced to the cloud).

There’s two places to assign the album in your web portal, From within the album settings ‘...’, select ‘share in gallery’, or from within the gallary select ‘add albums’.

I still am not able to reproduce you are seeing. Is there any chance you could provide screen shots of where you are - assign that album to the web gallery ?  A video of the entire process would be great if you can do it.

I get the impression web galleries are being phased out in favor of Adobe's "Portfolio" product? Lightroom CC 2.1.1 no longer seems to mention web galleries anywhere, and in the current web version of Lightroom all I can find is a "Share in Gallery" menu item that doesn't appear to do anything...

Hi, note that sharing an individual album is different from the 'web gallery' which displays several albums.

As mentioned in the previous post, I'm worried as well if Portfolio is meant to replace Web Gallery. Web Gallery is far simpler, keeps continuously synched and includes videos with photos. Portfolio seems more for pro publishing

Both Portfolio and Web Galleries have a place in the Lightroom Ecosystem. They serve different needs.

Great! Is it possible to add the possibility to add albums to the Web Gallery from the apps? It's only possible from the LR Web today. Thanks

So how do you create a "Web Gallery" for publishing multiple albums? Can't find any references to that feature in Lightroom CC Desktop, and just the one "Share in Gallery" menu item in the web version, but it doesn't do anything...

It can only be accessed from the LR Web, within the shared album pane found on the left side. Then you find ‘Gallery’ option up top, which needs to be activated once selected.. Stangely, if you share an album in the Gallery, it will no longer be shared as a separate album if you had done that. ...which is the original problem reported in this thread.
