Photoshop CS6: Shape properties collapsed, requires more mouse clicks.

Now in CS6, many of the shape properties are collapsed. This requires more mouse clicks to accomplish the same tasks, and renders useless much of the space available for UI.

I'm referring specifically to the shape creation properties: New Layer, Combine Shapes, Subtract from Shape, etc. Also, all the ordering and alignment choices. In the past, these were individually clickable icons which allowed for streamlined access. Now, each of these choices are buried under an icon, requiring two clicks to access where in the past only one was required.

Like many Photoshop users, I have more than ample monitor space to show each of these icons at once. As is, in CS6, 80% of the usable space for these properties section is wasted.

True that, making a task require more clicks than in previous versions (as for changing Path operations) seems like the opposite of an improvement.
