Photoshop: Improve Shake Reduction Filter performance. It's too slow

The Shake Reduction Filter in Photoshop CC is slow on large images. I am running the 64-bit version on an Intel i& quad core at 4550 GHZ and 16 GB RAM. I am using Intel HD 4600 graphics which address 1GB of RAM. Shake reduction takes 15 seconds on a 12.5 Megapixel image with better performance on smaller images. I have done extensive performance measurements in search of bottlenecks and can find none om my machine. It appears that performance is limited by the code. I use this wonderful feature a lot so the render time is important to me. It gets more so as I use different settings to fine tune the sharpening. At 15 seconds a pop this gets very frustrating.

Any suggestions? Can you focus on improving the performance of this feature in an upcoming release?

Many thanks - Michael

The Shake Reduction filter in Photoshop CC 2014 Windows version is deadly slow. On my Mac it is much faster than the original CC version. Frustrating!
