Hi! I discovered today, that i can move Ruler origin position and it's so handy for position symmetrical  guides! But now i need to run a script for cropping, clear existing guides and add some new guides. And now the question - how i can reset ruler origin? I found this message - https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/a-ruler-origin-reset-is-impossible-by-script?... I tried, and i get the error : app.stringIDToTypeID is not a function. It will be great if i'll find why i get this error, but for now i'm interested in other solution - perhaps I can reset Ruler origin manually somehow? Any tip will be usefull - for script (i am a newbie in scripting) or for manual method.

Short answer is that I don't think you need the "app." I think you can call stringIDtoTypeID without it.

That or add at the top of the script :

var app = application ;

That might do it.

Oh... If you are running it via the script editor be sure you are actually connected to photoshop, too.
