ELEMENTS: having trouble finding how to solve activation problems

Dear Adobe,
My wife and I have become very frustrated Photoshop users and find the need to troll through lots of Q and A type lists even more frustrating when all we really want to do is to contact a real person and resolve the issue.

The problem first arose when we upgraded our Mac Mini and had the old Mac Mini's data and software ported across to the new model. When we went to use PS Elements 8 on the new machine we received the message that we already had two copies in operation (our Macbook Air and I presume the old Mac Mini) and now we were trying to open a third on the new Mini. As the old Mini is now gone, we don't have that copy of PS Elements 8 in use.

We tried in vain to sort out the problem and so resorted to purchasing an upgrade to PS Elements 12. The purchase process was fine but the download was an absolute pain. The special Download Assistant failed and so we went through the trial software route and ventrally were able to obtain our own copy and insert the Serial No. to complete the process.

So, some suggestions:

1. Provide an obvious route to make direct contact.
2. Improve the download process.
3. Error check your systems.
