Photoshop CC: Selection using Path change.

Here is the scoop: last values entered in Make Selection Dialog Box using Path become the precedent for every following selection. This is different from previous versions of Photoshop and it presents issues.

In the past versions of Photoshop, the selections were antialiased, with zero Feather until operator changed that for each selection. This made sense since different selections may need different Feather Radius.

Again, once the Feather Radius and Anti-alias in Make Selection dialog box is set, It becomes the new default. Issues occur when Selection is made using a shortcut (holding Command (Mac) and clicking Path Thumbnail). Every new Selection made this way, will be Feathered as set last time, often weeks later for entirely different path, in entirely different file! This is a problem.

So, the only way to know what Feather will apply to a Path selection without remembering the last settings, is to use the 'Make Selection Dialog Box', which makes the timesaving shortcut obsolete. This is not intuitive.

Perhaps changing the way it works now to 'remember' the Feather values and antialias for individual Path would make more sense?
