Hello, I would like to report the a problem. Every time i use photo-shops lasso tool my image and canvas start blinking and wont allow me to zoom or continue with my work. I have tried re-installing the program and even changing file types. it is really annoying. Please help me fix this as i really enjoy the program but this is a vital tool and it wont let me work as efficiently.

Update your video card driver from the GPU maker's website, or disable the GPU drawing in preferences if you can't update the driver for some reason.

And let me guess: Windows 8?

Determine what video card you have and go directly to the manufacturers website (nVidia or ATI/AMD) and download the latest driver: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201...

After you have the latest driver, Try restoring your preferences: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201...

If doing both of those doesn't help, select Edit>Preferences>Performance... and click [Advanced Settings...]. Set the Drawing Mode to "Basic" and restart Photoshop.
