When selecting a batch of layers or only one layer, and then clicking on "Add Folder", put this layers under the new created folder

Clicking the "Create a New Group" button in the Layers panel will do exactly that. However, if you select the layers you want to group and then drag the selection down to this same button, the selected layers will be in the new group. Or you can use the "Group Layers" command (under the Layers menu or use Ctrl+G (Win) or Cmd+G (Mac)) to create a new group that includes the selected layers.

I use command-G to do this all the time and love it. You know what I don't love? That the Mac's Finder doesn't have the same feature.
