A small thing, but every now and then, I'd appreciate to being able to  use "select pixels" on groups, the same way it's possible with layers (ctrl+lmb on layer thumbnail).

Ctrl+clicking on the folder icon would be consistent with how it's done with layers, for example.

So it would select pixels of all layers inside that group, incl. layers of all levels subgroup?

I would expect the selection to be what would be selected, were the group merged down to one layer and "select pixels" used on that.

It would be good if layers inside that group(s) had transparent pixels, otherwise it would simply select cavans. Correct me if I'm wrong, you expect content of that group wasn't merged but only behaved like it was, so as the result it was untouched while selection done on all layers inside like they were one layer?
