Lightroom: Select multiple collections bug

If you have a long list of collections, longer than the screen height, it is nearly impossible to select a large number of them. When you select a bunch of collections, and then scroll to find another to select (using command-click, the Mac convention for extending the selection by one item), the list of collections immediately scrolls back to the top, making it very difficult to keep track of what you are doing.

Interestingly command-clicking an already-selected collection (to deselect that collection) does not have this scroll bug.

Very annoying, but, I hope, easily fixed.

I hope that this video illustrates the bug, if it isn't clear from my description. In it I am selecting with the command key held down.

Here's a work around for your problem: select the collections from the bottom up rather than from the top down.

See this bug report, Library collection panel scrolls unexpectedly when you duplicate/rename/delete a collection set, for similar symptoms.   I haven't merged this into that topic because it's not clear it's the same bug.
