PHOTOSHOP - Select colors from CC Library colors anytime for shapes or text

Although it's nearly there, I'd love to see a bit more color-picking options when it comes to Libraries. As of now selecting a color can be done in many different places in a number of different contexts, but there are a few times I'm left clicking on Library swatches that won't color something when they previously did just fine.

The cases I'm thinking of specifically are as follows:

1. Shape layer selected with Path/Direct Selection tool active -> I have the option to select the fill or the border color dropdowns for my shape with a handy recent swatches panel to boot. For this case specifically I'd love to be able to directly select a color from my Libraries. I can select a Library color with either fill or border panel open, however, and the Library color gets added to the recently used colors area (not the fill or border though), and I just have to click again on the newly "recently used color". That just seems like two steps that could be one.

2. A paragraph of text is selected within a text box containing additional unselected text -> Here my options are using the color picker/eyedropper in the toolbar at the top or the Foreground Color swatch, or the Swatches panel. I would love to be able to use my Library colors for selected portions of text within a larger paragraph.

These are edge cases for sure, but definitely a hang-up in [my]the workflow of regular semi-power users.

I could not agree with this more! Speaking in regards to point number two, this is how it actually works in Illustrator. I'd love to see this be the default behavior in Photoshop as well.

Another great use for this would be for the case shown in the attached image—choosing colors for gradients allows you to switch between palette and swatches view, but would be great to have a third "Library - colors" option. The Libraries feature is awesome, it just needs to permeate throughout the whole of the app now.
