When we search layers using text, select the desired layer and then turn off the search, the layers panel scroll position is reset back to what it was before searching. If a layer was selected while searching and the search is turned off, the panel view should hold the scrolled position and the selected layer should remain within the visible area of the panel view. Otherwise, the only way to find a layer is to scroll through all layers, which negates much of the benefit of having a search function.

Hi CL, I'm not able to reproduce this. When I search for a layer that's outside the current view in the layers panel, select it, and turn off the search/filter, the newly selected layer is scrolled to in order to make it visible.
