Lightroom: Search for 'contains keyword X' and 'does not contain keyword Y'

I have a jealous girlfriend and unfortunately 4 ex-girlfriends. Of my 25k pictures in Lightroom, several have an ex-girlfriend in the frame, which repeatedly causes me headaches. For example if I want to show my current girlfriend photos of New York, I have no way of showing her only those that do not contain an ex-girlfriend. I have set up a keyword ‘ex-girlfriend’ which I have added to every problematic photo but the CMD – F search function only allows me to either search for photos that do contain a certain keyword or do not. Hence I cannot search for photos that do have the keyword New York but do not have the ex-girlfriend keyword. Would it be possible to add a two criteria search function, i.e. ‘search for photos that contain keyword X but do not contain keyword Y? This would probably be useful to many of us. After all I cannot be the only guy out there facing the girlfriend/ex-girlfriend issue. :-)

Hi Philippe,

In the keywords search field, an exclamation point preceding a keyword will exclude photos containing that keyword from the results. As in "!ex-girlfriend" (without the quotation marks).
