Photoshop/Lightroom: Scrolling issues on Lenovo X1 Yoga

I am using a brand new maxed out Lenovo X1 Yoga. When scrolling in Photoshop using two fingers on the touchpad, the response is so slow and laggy that it takes about 3 minutes to scroll through a 24 Megapixel image from one side to another. The scrolling performance in Lightroom is almost equally horrible. All other programs I am running on the computer have no scrolling issues. Please help.

Do you have scrolling issues when using a mouse?  (This might help narrow down the problem.)

Do you have a dGPU or is it motherboard only?

In Photoshop, I do not have scrolling issues when using a mouse. In lightroom, I do have scrolling issues when using a mouse.

My GPU is motherboard only: Intel UHD 620.

Thank you for your help.

In Lightroom, I assume you are doing panning in the develop loupe or the library loupe? Try goto Lightroom>Edit>Preferences>Performance..., check the Use Graphic Processor to see if it works better.

Hi Simon, thanks for the tip. I did that firsthand and it did slightly improve performance. It's still laggy though...
