Lightroom Classic CC scrolling in Loupe view

This morning I found myself scrolling through images (all non-selected) in loupe view. I realized I hadn't seen this happen before. I can't duplicate it now.

Can anyone tell me what the trick is? Maybe I was absentmindedly holding down another key?

Thanks

Not sure what you mean by Scrolling Through. It is normal to Scroll through your images while in Loupe View in the Library module and the cursor is in the Loupe View area. Has been for as long as I can remember. Every click of the scroll wheel will take you to the next or previous image. If you are in the Develop or Library module and the cursor is in the filmstrip area then the scroll wheel just scrolls the Filmstrip without changing the image.

Bingo!!!!! The cursor has to be in the Loupe view area! Obviously I hadn't had the cursor in that area for the past upteem years and did this morning.
