Salut Alex,

Sinon, écris-moi quelque chose ici.

Merci,
David

Howdy Alex,

It seems to me that your problem is that the image is on the background layer which is locked. Click on the layer (in the layers panel) to rename it and you should be able to change everything -- the name, the size, etc.. Otherwise, write me here.

Thanks,
David

Merci de me répondre :) (Je parle mieux français qu’anglais)

Thank you for answering me:)

No, the problem is that when I move the image or I zoom on the image, the zone of works become as a layer then normal then as a layer then normal and so on... As for the image it flashes so in this way: black, normal, black, normal, black....

That is a video driver bug.

Win8 has problems like that for pretty much all GPUs (we're all working on that). Temporary work around is to set the GPU mode to "Basic" in Photoshop's preferences.

But for other OS versions, it just means you need to update your video card driver.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
Photoshop Flicker with Selection Tool.

Just subscribed to Adobe Cloud and downloaded Photoshop on a PC laptop running Windows 8. When using the selection tools on a photograph I'm getting severe flickering. I'm very disappointed and worried because I am unemployed and trying to fill the void with some freelance work but this issue may make me miss my deadline. Any ideas how to make it function correctly?
