Lightroom 6.3: Screen turns black when adding a keyword beginning with capital "S"

In Lightroom, whenever I type a keyword that begins with a capital "S" (in the "Click here to add new keywords" field), the whole screen flickers briefly to black.

I first began noticing this with Lightroom 6.2, but the issue is still there in 6.3 (CC 2015.3), on a Windows 7 Pro machine.

I've got the very latest drivers for all hardware, and Windows is also up to date. Let me know if there's any additional information I can provide that might be useful.

Thanks!

Try changing your display theme in Windows. Does it do it if you use the default Windows theme?

Thanks for the suggestion, but even after a clean reboot, using the default Windows 7 theme did not resolve the issue.

Actually, it appears to happen even with a lower-case "s".

Also worth noting: this bug continues to happen (about two to three times) with each "s" that is typed until eventually the Aero glass in Windows 7 is disabled (Explorer silently crashing?), after which, the flickering stops happening (when typing an "s").

Could it be something with the GPU? I have the same problem (win7 p 64, Lr 6.1.1) and GeForce GTX 960. Secondary screen works fineĀ  but main screen turns black exceptr for widows start button.

Could be? I have a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 950 (2GB DDR5), running the latest drivers.

For what it's worth, this is still happening with the latest drivers (GeForce 364.51) and latest version of Lightroom (6.5).

The same thing happens to me with Windows 7-64 bit and LR 6.5.1; happened with all previous versions of LR 6 also.
This happens if the keyword starting with S follows a comma (used to separate keywords). If I don't enter a comma, that does not occur.
