CS6 zeigt.

Die aktuelle Version von Photoshop CC 2014.02.01 Stütz Skalieren der Benutzeroberfläche von 200% für die Verwendung auf HiDPI Monitoren. Sie können dies, indem Sie Einstellungen> Experimentelle Funktionen ermöglichen ... und Kontrolle "Scale UI 200%."

Dear Mr. Tranberry,

thank you for your answer. At first I installed the update CS6 Version 13.0.1 x64.

Then I tried to find the menue proposed by you in your answer.

Einstellungen> Experimentelle Funktionen ermöglichen
... und Kontrolle "Scale UI 200%."

But in the main menue (see enclosed screen shot) I could not find a suitable topic.
Please send me an information explaining the steps I have to pass in order to find the
possibility of altering the scale.

I add a second image which shows the scale situation onm my display when I use CS6
in its original state.

Correct. The option for 200% scaling isn't available in CS6. It's only available in the current version (CC 2014) which is two versions newer than CS6.

Dear Mr. Tranberry,

my CS6 version is a student & teacher edition. When I search for CC2014: which is
- in the same price category - the correct label of CC 2014?

In the web I found the enclosed offer. Is this the right software which replaces
CS6 or is it an upgrade for CS6?

I use a 28" monitor U28D590D from Samsung (3840 x 2160 Pix) with a
VGA GeForce GTX760 graphic board. Does this equipment match to CC2014?

I'm not familiar with that URL. I don't believe it's an authorized reseller because resellers can no longer sell CS6.

You can get Photoshop CC here: https://creative.adobe.com/plans/offe...

Dear Mr. Tranberry,

thank you for your hint. But since, instead of subscribing it, I prefer to buy the software
I will purchase the program CC2014 from an internet dealer.

I am a bit confused about the different labels, so please answer the
following questions:

1. does Photoshop CC mean the same as CC2014?
2. is CC2014 a replacement or an upgrade for CS6?
3. if CC2014 replaces CS6: is there any restriction for the case that I sell
CS6 since after the replacement this software will be useless for me?

Creative Cloud isn't available for purchase from an "internet provider" - It's pirated/counterfeit software that someone is selling illegally. Please see this: http://blogs.adobe.com/photoshopdotco...

Photoshop CC 2014 is the most current version of Photoshop CC. It is two versions newer than CS6. (CS6>CC>CC 2014)

Dear Mr. Tranberry,

you sent me the following link

https://creative.adobe.com/plans/offe...

for price information about CC 2014. There I found only subscription offers.
As I wrote you I want to buy the software. Doesn ́t Adobe sell it?

Dear Mr. Tranberry,

by a phone contact with a local Adobe dealer I got the information
that CS6 was the last software wich could be bought (lifetime license).

As I informed you I only want to solve the problem of tiny/unreadable characters
occuring under CS6 caused by the implementation of a high resolution
monitor. You wrote that only CC2014 allows an enlargement of characters.
Hence the solution for my problem would be the purchase of CC2014.
But due to the information that CC2014 is only available in a subscription
version this way of solving my problem is much to expensive.

Is there an alternative possibility of solution by a singular pay? Perhaps an
update of CS6?

Hi Mathias, Photoshop CS6 is two versions old and doesn't receive feature updates. Photoshop CS6 purchase price is 950 €/1366 €: http://www.adobe.com/products/catalog...

At that price a customer can have the Creative Cloud Photography Plan @ 12.29€/mo for close to 6.5/9.5 years respectively.

The Creative Cloud Photography plan includes Photoshop CC, Lightroom & Lightroom mobile. Plus you get all the product updates/upgrades (e.g. Photoshop 2014, 2015, 2016, etc & Lightroom 6, LR7, LR8, LR9, etc) for OS compatibility and support during that time. With the old model, you'd have to pay extra for upgrades in that same time period.

One of the reasons for moving to this model is to make sure customers can keep up with the fast changing technology landscape where Apple and Microsoft are updating OSes every 12 months and introducing new hardware and devices at a faster and faster rate.

Dear Mr. Tranberry,

thank you for your help. Your information means that I have to stand the problems
given by the nearly unreadable charachters and icons of CS6. I think you will understand
that I am not willing to pay hundreds of dollars only for the comfort of easy reading.
Since I use photoshop only for restricted projects ocurring from time to time - and furthermore because of my age (77) - the progress of developing software possibilities doesn ́t touch me.

That the developers of CS6 did not include a possibility for enlarging the characters is disappointing bad news. Apparently a feasible solution for my problem doesn ́t exist.

Sincerely Matthias Ehrich
