Saving photo album as a pdf causes some photos to be incorrectly rotated

When saving a photo album as a pdf, some photos are incorrectly oriented (rotated). The problem images appear correctly in Photoshop Elements album editor, but when I save the album as a pdf, several of the images are rotated 90 degrees away from where they should be. The frames are oriented correctly, just the containing images are rotated. This is incredibly lame after I spent several hours designing a nice album.

This appears to be related to doing some editing in advanced mode. In advanced mode, the image does appear in the editor rotated incorrectly in the same way that the pdf displays it incorrectly. In basic mode, the image displays with the correct orientation. Fixing the orientation in advanced mode and resaving the pdf seems to fix the orientation in the pdf.

Hopefully Adobe will fix this bug. FYI, I'm using Photoshop Elements 9.
