Photoshop Elements Organizer: how do I backup the data?

If I put photos into the organizer (perhaps a lot of work), and my computer dies (motherboard dies or hard drive fails irreversibly) or something like that, can I recover the organizer information so that I would not have to enter it again? I have all of my photos backed up on DVD's and backup hard drives, but I'm wondering about the "organizer information" in the program itself. It would be a lot of work to redo all of that. Can you tell me how I can save the organizer information? Thank you.

Please note that I'm referring to the addition of tags and keywords, etc. in the original post about organizer information. Thanks.

You've got two choices:
1. Use Organizer to backup your catalog to a DVD. Note: this will backup not only the catalog, but also all the media files, so the backup will be very large.

2. In Organizer, use Help...System Info to see the full path of your current catalog. Ensure that you're backing up that entire catalog directory and all its subdirectories. This will only backup the catalog and its information and not the media files.

Thanks, Ken. That answers it. I probably have way too many pictures to be able to use option 1, assuming I would want all of my pictures in "one" place. But it gives me a way to attack the issue.
