My PS CC gives an error when I want to save a file.
The message is (translated in english) can't do because of a programme error.

First, try turning off Generator in Photoshop's preferences (under the Plugins panel).

Dear Chris,

Thanks for the advice.

Perhaps another issue is related:
I'm having a mask applied to a smart object.
If you want to see the both on your screen you press shift 8 to toggle on and off.
With me the red mask is only showing in rectangular or square blocks as if the programme only partially responding to the comment.

That sounds like you're having video card driver issues. Update your video card driver from the GPU maker's website. If you can't update the driver for some reason, disable GPU drawing in Photoshop's preferences, then relaunch Photoshop..

You're the best Chris.

Couldn't update my ATI Radeon 3000 graphics with an earlier question I had or there wasn't something newer available but this recommendation does do the trick.

Make sure you checked at AMD/ATI's website, not the OS vendor or card builder.
