PHOTOSHOP CC: Save for web takes a lot longer if the file open has a timeline.

We quite often use Photoshop to export frames from video footage. However, when using Save For Web, there's a long (1-2minute) delay after pressing save. Flattening the file first removes the delay, but often I forget (like right now...)

Thanks!

Yes, because it has to rasterize all the frames and load them into SFW to save the animation. If you're saving a single image (PNG or JPEG), then the delay shouldn't be there.

OK - then it's a bug? The delay happens when saving single jpeg frames.
