I don't have Adobe Drive enabled. Latest Photoshop CC. Saving a 1200x800 PNG that usually takes 3-4 seconds is now taking 10-15 seconds.

What kind of volume are you saving to? MacOS 10.9 still has some problems with fileservers.

Do you have Photoshop 14.2.1?

Have you installed all the MacOS 10.9 updates (Apple has fixed some filesystem bugs already)?

Have you added any utility programs to your system since upgrading to 10.9?

My main disk, nothing fancy.
Photoshop 14.2.1 x64 (latest).
OS X is fully updated.

Could you please specify what is considered 'utility programs'?

Any utility program or haxie that you install on your system: anti-virus, disk optimizers, memory optimizers, etc.

And something has to have changed on your system to make SFW slow down with the OS update. MacOS 10.9 has a lot of bugs, but I don't recall a slow filesystem being one of them.

Alright, then what else is different about your 10.9 install that could cause such a slowdown when saving files? Other people aren't seeing a slowdown, and the Photoshop code didn't change.

Out of the millions of people running Photoshop, 3 have a problem with similar descriptions. That means that 3 people might have the same utility or configuration problem. If every MacOS 10.9 user saw a slowdown, we would have hundreds of complaints.

So, we still need to figure out what changed on your system to cause the slowdown seen on your system.
