This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
Photoshop Color Picker HUD and Recent Swatches.

When you're using swatches in Photoshop CC, the new behavior is that any color picked gets added to the small recent swatches list. It's practical especially for graphic design.
But when you are using the color picker HUD with the ctrl+alt+cmd shortcut, new swatches are added continuously, when we'd expect only the last color to be picked.

Actual behavior : recent swatches upon any cursor move in the color picker HUD (= at mouse move, continuously triggered)
Expected behavior : only one recent swatch is picked when releasing the mouse (or stylus) (= at mouse up, triggered once)

Thanks, but the colors that are added to the swatch are just a series of the same colors. It would be nice if the Color HUD could save the individual colors I chose when using the HUD while I'm working instead of just a series of the same colors.

Sorry, Franck and Christopher. I did not do it, and we can't split threads, afaik
