Hi! A couple of month ago, when you used the camera in the app with your own settings (For example 2:3 or 4:3 ratio, jpg or Dong), the settings were saved until next time you needed the camera. But now since a couple of month back the settings resets themself every time you go into the app and wanna use the camera! Why? It’s so disturbing that you, always, have you change the settings!! Please change it back so the settings save themself. RegardsRichard

The issue got worse with the latest update (May 2019) - now the flash settings are getting resetted as well - to "Auto"!

It is really annoying to go to ALL camera settings everytime I want to take a photo with Lightroom mobile and actually renders the Lightroom app useless for taking casual snapshots.

Dear Adobe staff: I would consider this a bug. Is it acknowledged as this and will be fixed?

Regards,

Same thing for me on iPhone X! Even the settings on Long Exposure mode are reseting themselves to 1sec and also the settings for grid and level! So annoying...

Mr and Mes Adobe please change that urgently

Most times I re-start the app, camera settings completely re-set: flash→ auto; mode→auto, etc.

Please update app so that in-camera settings persist between app-launches.

Many thanks.

Please, can anyone from Adobe comment, if this issue is already acknowledged as a bug? Or is it a problem on the iOS side?

This post was made as a feature request (Idea).  Feature requests are made when a change in the as-design behavior is requested by users. They can add comments about their workflow or desired behavior detail. We accumulate votes on the Idea and use that to prioritize future enhancements.

I think this should be switched to bug Rikk, it definitely used to remember settings.

Hi Rikk,

thank you for your response. But are you sure this is a feature request and not a bug report? The camera settings were "sticky" on iOS previously and they started to reset themselves randomly every now and then after a Lightroom mobile update about 8-9 months ago.

I use the Lightroom camera feature on my iPhone since the end of 2016 for a daily project. Therefore I noticed the change immediately back then and thought it was a freshly introduced bug, that would be rooted out soon.
