Photoshop: Save for Web "All Except Camera Info" not deleting lens metadata

Save JPEG from CR2 file using Save for Web. Select "All Except Camera Info" for metadata.

"exifEX:LensModel" tag is still present in saved JPEG.

I would expect lens info to be part of the camera metadata, even if it was not part of the literal camera body. If it dropped that data, I would consider it a bug.

Yeah I was surprised to see it still there. Other EXIF remains in the file which is a judgment call.

Agreed. Lens info is part of the camera info, so this is as expected.

All EXCEPT Camera Info. As in, that tag should be removed, not retained.

I almost answered that it was as designed, as it is an EXIF tag, but indeed, we are supposed not to see any of it, I guess...

I'm not sure who marked this as not a problem but it IS a problem. Its a bug.
