Photoshop: Save for Web just the selection with all layers

Maybe the option exists but I don't think so. The idea is : we could have the possibility to save for the web a selection with all the merged layers contained in the space delimited by the selection. (With a well-on keyboard shortcut to speed up work).
Thank you for feedback. I've been waiting for this for a long time! :)

Just in case this feature is not addressed directly, here's a workaround you can try in the meantime:
Record an action for Edit -> Copy Special -> Copy Merged, File -> New Document ("From Clipboard"), Edit -> Paste. Then assign a hotkey to the action. That would at least get you your merged selection in a temporary document sized to the selection bounds. From there you can save-for-web from and close pretty quickly.

Good luck!

I do often already! I work in the web. I have to do that 100 times a day :) That's why I would like a faster solution;) But thanks for those who did not know.
