Photoshop: Save For The Web Action - Action Recorded Folder vs. Destination Folder

When creating a Save For The Web action, the action records the specific folder you use to save for the web. This means that it's the only folder this action will save to. How is that even possible? I want my action to batch so I can save for the web 20 plus folders...There is no way to do this without a work around.

My work around is this:

Create a "dump" folder on desk top. Use this folder as the "Save for the Web" recorded action. Then in batch select a new source folder, and a new destination folder. The action will save images in both the new destination folder as well as the "dump" folder on the desktop.

Does anyone else know a different way to accomplish this?
