Prem elements 10 unable to read Nikon D300s avi files (720p x 24fps) which play perfectly and readily in other players. Error message non-informative. No help at all in any adobe resource after some hours of trying. Website help like a maze, returning searcher to square one each time in it's obviously deliberate methods of avoiding contact with the customer. Dissappointed to the point of anger here. 10 years ago Adobe SW was brilliant on most counts, what has happened? Did they ship out the code writing work to a third-world country and fire the clever originators? I am left holding over 100 buck'sworth of uselessness and wishing I had not gone back to adobe. I shall not do this again. This is disgraceful of you, you are doomed to ultimate failure by these methods.

Do you have QuickTime installed on your machine? If not, please do so and then try to import these files. The files are Motion Jpegs in AVI container. They require QuickTime.
