Having multiple images selected from the filmstrip, when you select a rotate direction, only the image you selected is rotated. It would make workflow faster if all images selected are rotated. I also miss the quick rotate buttons from Lightroom Classic.

This is as-designed behavior. Edit sliders only work on the image in the Loupe view - other selected images are ignored to prevent your editing images you did not intend to edit which may be selected but not visible in the film strip. You can submit a feature request if you like but this has been standard for all versions of Lightroom for 14 years.

I tend to disagree. In Lightroom Classic (I used till version 6) you can select multiple images and rotate them all with one click of a rotate button, either the one in task strip below the pictures window or on the icon in the image tile itself. This indeed makes rotation much faster and I think only works for rotation and a few other options e.g. stars or pick/reject ones if I remember correctly.

Please note I said "Edit sliders only work on the image in the Loupe view"

OK, true. The question though was only for the mass image rotation feature, doesn't matter where the button will be.

Mass rotation is only available from Grid.

In Desktop, you select items to rotate and then right-click and chose the desired rotation in the context menu. [Cmd/Ctrl] + [ or ] will accomplish the same.

I cannot see anytime in the future it being available from Film Strip/Loupe view.

Ah, that is great. I believe it is good enough to have it here :)
