an improvement i would love to see is to have the full list of applied keywords visible as a rollover on the icon, in the foto corner, that indicates a keyword has been applied.

You mean like the list of collections that show up when you click on the collections icon on the thumbnail? I like that idea.

Photoshop Elements Organizer has this feature, and it would be great if LR did too:

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Lightroom: Keyword icon on a photo shows the keywords in the tooltip.

Currently the tooltip on the keyword icon shows 'Has keywords'. More useful to have the actual keywords in the tooltip, then I don't have to have the keyword panel open and select the photo before I can see the keywords.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled feature request LRCC-- make applied keywords visible on hover.

Rather than having to go into the right panel, please make all the applied keywords applied to any particular photo visible when you hover over the tag (in the lower right of the photo) that indicates keywords have been applied. Been asking for this for years. It would make refining organizing keywords infinitely more simple.
