Photoshop: Ability to right-click layer in layers list to display the available groups list and move layer to selected group

I would have imagined that when I right click on a layer in the layers list, that the available groups would be displayed as a list so that I can directly select one of them with the effet of moving the layer in the appropriate group more easily.

(Just dragging the layers on the target group is time consuming when one has many layers, and many layers to move.)

I would really like feedback on this one,
Have a nice day!

I was just thinking the exact same thing. Seems intuitive that this option would exist. Very similar to right clicking to duplicate a layer, thus moving it to a new document. Really surprised to se that there isn't more clamor about this.

It would be a huge time saver for web/app design. Thanks for getting this conversation started.

Yes, I often work with documents with more than a 100 layers and waste a lot of time moving layers around.  The best solution I found is to duplicate into a new document, choose a layer where you want your layer to be moved, then duplicate again from the new document back into your original one. It would be tremendously more simple to right click > move layer, have a dialog with all the layers and choose where you want it to appear.
