Revert constrain transform to what it was! Why it has been changed after decades??

In most of design softwares, transformation is free in every aspects and it will be proportionally when Shift or Ctrl is pressed. There was no difference for Photoshop and after more than two decades, the team suddenly decided to change it? Why?

I do not understand the logic behind it. Are you helping the new designers? Why you are disrespecting the experienced ones? If this change is going to help some, why this is not default in shapes and vectors?! You may help some to make their transformation easier but, you force the majority of your users to install scripts or change the application system files to revert this change. I assume every change should be problem-solving rather than problematic.

Please tell anyone(s) who suggested this change, think out of the box and do a bit of experience design studies.

Please revert this change to "original" in the next update.

This is already implemented. Go to Preferences - General and click 'Use Legacy Free Transform'.

Thank you Johan; I had a look at when the new version released and had this question: Why it is not optional? I had to change a code in one of the system files manually to revert this setting. The thing is, Photoshop is no more just a photo editing application. It is an standard for the industry. It should not change fundamentally without any valid reason.
