I also need to use Flickr and SNS upload from the desktop version instead of iOS version.
The functionality of iOS one is very useful. please add this feature into Desktop version as well.

We haven't added it yet. We used an open source library for sharing on iOS, but it doesn't work on the Mac. We're going to have to write some new code from scratch, and we still need to do that. We hear you, though, and we agree that the features should be the same on the Mac as on iOS.

Good to know. I'm looking forward to implementing it soon.

Btw, I have also noticed the Flickr exporter doesn't upload the image as original size. It has resized. Is it also any dependency by the open source libs?

This is also something we will fix in a future version. Right now, the app is uploading the preview image that you see in Loupe view. What we need to do is have the app and the cloud coordinate rendering and sending the full res version of the image.

I love it!
If it has also acceptable to upload multiple images once, it seems perfect for Flickr. ;-)

How's about this status?
I'm pretty critical about the resizing issue when I upload to Flickr.
Because current size is not enough for retina display.

I would like to share to Flickr, and none only I don't see the option in the desktop app, but I don't have it in the iOS app either. Has this been removed or am I looking at the wrong place?

Also, is there an ETA for a full Flickr sharing implementation with full sized images and EXIF data access all versions of Revel?

Thanks a lot!

It was removed (because of app store rules). Sounds like Flickr is going to change the API and we could potentially re-add if Apple it allows it after the API change.

I love Revel iOS apps because it makes easy to upload images to flickr, facebook and so on.
But I realized that my flickr pictures uploaded by Revel lost almost all Exif date.
It means I can't see some useful information on flickr, for example GPS, Camera, aperture, exposure, etc, etc..
I hope Revel clients get better to keep and export these data.

Revel: Export pictures/images to Flickr with full Exif data.
