It's really frustrating not to be able to at least see if not edit the metadata of photos uploaded to Revel. Can we have this feature please?

It would be great if you could include this feature or at least let us use the quick look function of OS X. By installing SneakPeek Photo as a quick look extension we could be able to see the metadata (http://www.code-line.com/software/sne.... But I would prefer if it was built in to revel.

I agree. Without having metadata available in the pictures, it makes it very hard to sort through and organize pictures.

It would be very helpful to see the name of the file!
I like revel for it's simplicity! So don't do more just the name of the file.

yes it would be so helpful the file names transferred too. i just did a test of 32 images and i don't see my name files nor metadata. i would at least like to see the date the image was taken.

absolutely must have this feature. this absence is one of a number of changes which clearly indicate that Revel is aimed for the rank amateur, instead of a semipro or professional. Guess I'll just move my images from photoshop elsewhere, because Revel just doesn't have the depth of resources I need.

I've got all my photos and videos into Photoshop Elements. Every photo has an number of tags and a lot of photos I put into albums. You can upload photos into Adobe Revel. There you can make albums.

Are these things possible in the near future?
1. It would be really great that albums from Photoshop Elements are automatically (?) synced into Revel.
2. When tags from Photoshop Elements could be used in Revel also. Now it's only possible to sort photos by date in Revel. With tags finding photos is even easier.

Should be possible to add some tags (eg: used/not used in albums, category, suject....) to the photos in the library?

This Revel program does not even have the capability of Windows Live or iPhoto. Can't see metada info, resize photos, use layers, etc. How can Adobe go backward like this? Some of us don't need or don't want to pay for the full blown Photoshop CS program. Now you give us a very simple basic photo adjustment program, force us to move our photoshop.com photos to Revel, and make us pay for extra storage. At a minimum, Revel should retain the capabilities of Elements, especially for those of use paying you for premium accounts!!!!

This is the total dumbing down of the previous photoshop.com organize and edit album & photo rating capabilities. None of the photoshop.com or album metadata was carried over. I hope the engineers are happy with their new product because it's a huge step backwards in functionality and is wreaking havoc on a huge joint project a group is working on.

I could not agree more. The entire transition is a photographic disaster. I have given up on the photoshop and Revel sites, and am deleting my images and closing the accounts. I have a Pro Gallery on Shutterfly now, and there is no comparison at all! Shutterfly works! I am sure there is a monetary decision behind photoshop's actions, but they need to understand the degree of unhappiness that follows their decision! This action has undone three years of my careful site organization. (It has nothing to do with image storing or sharing!) Photoshop is now very obviously aiming at the kids with cell phone photos, so I will let them have that "market."

Yes, metadata and tags are a must. Revel looks nice but having the ability to organize and search by tags and metadata would be fantastic.

Pattie, thread started over a year ago. If our vote counts wouldn't you think this would have been incorporated by now???

I am very disappointed that there is not one single way to identify a photograph. This is not a product that I ever thought Photoshop would provide.
These emoticons are insulting. especially the ones you offer when first posting a question on Revel.
