Revel download tool to PC stops working. Repeated attempts to remove library from Revel have failed.

Hi Alan,

I'm not completely clear on your questions. Are you saying that you are trying to download your images from Revel using the Downloader and it keeps getting stuck during download? Or can you start the download at all?

Yes. The downloader keeps getting stuck and will not move. I have cleared everything out and started over 2-3 times with the same result. It seems to get stuck while attempting to download my Photoshop.com library that was moved to Revel a couple of years ago.

Hi Alan,

Sorry you're having problems. Sounds like it is getting stuck in the same place

We tested it extensively with a range of USB drives, solid state, thumb drives, spinning drives - my guess is an asset you have is causing the downloader to get stuck - occasionally an asset can end up in a weird state on the server and completely halt the download.

I need you to send me a couple log files so our server team can check out what is going on. I am going to send you an email with the instructions then you can send them to me.

Hi Alan,

I sent your files to the developer but he is not seeing anything in the logs that indicates what the problem is. He had a couple questions, though, that would help him.
1. How long are you waiting before giving up on the Downloader as stuck? The developer does see a few large files near the beginning of the queue which could be much slower to download than other files.
2. Could you provide one more stuck? You can just attach that screenshot to this forum post if you like or send it to me via email. Either way would be great.
