revamped import is all worse

This conversation has been merged. Please reference the main conversation: Lightroom: Restore features removed from Import in LR 6.2 / CC 2015.2

"We redesigned the Import experience to make finding and importing your photos easier and more visual. The redesign was driven by our desire to make the import workflow more explicit and clear. The workflow is 1. Select a source, 2. Select images 3. Choose any import settings (optional) and 4. Import."

Nothing is easier now. Before I hit IMPORT and IMPORT again and all new images from SD card was imported. Now I must:

"importing your photos easier" now means:
1. Select a source,
2. Select images
3. Choose any import settings (optional) and
4. Import.

"and more visual" now means:
- I am under stress if I am still in Lightroom app or maybe craweled on a website
- I must seek and discover hidden settings (several clicks and treasure seeking where settings are are hidden)
- and do this EVERY TIME!

What is more visual against previous import where ALL settings were visible at once and you do not needed to set them every time?

I wish this "revamping" never happened. As you add good features to Adobe software we have fear every production mornig what new "puzzle" Adobe will set to us. We hate that and serious consider to leave this boat. Imagin you would have every morning the light switch somewhere else, the tootpaste in other drawer (and room), door handle at the ceiling, car would become left/right hand driving, wife will change hair to pink, etc !
