Retina Support in the slideshow modules is urgently needed. I was happy about the Retina Support in 4.3 but I couldn ́t believe that you forgot to implement it in the slideshow module. We are all working hard to improve our pics, but at the end of the day we want to show them to friends, customers and so an. And the pics just look blurry in the slideshow module on a Retina MacbookPro. I ́m really dissapointed about that.

Forgot is probably the wrong word.

There are finite resources to implement new features and fix bugs. Not all features can be added at every dot release. You are fortunate the team has place priority on getting Retina into the dot releases and that you don't have to wait for a major release.

I'd say Adobe is fortunate that retina was added for 4.3. Thats how they got me and probably alot of other retina users.

I was using Aperture up until it's update for that very reason.
I wrote about it a whole bunch here;

I ́m not fortunate. Adobe did sleep about Retina Support. There were a lot of companies supporting the Retina Display very fast and completely and without a paid major release.

@Mark
The difference is, when other apps claim to have Retina support it is full support not only partially support. It ́s so weird to me that I have to export my pics to watch them in Retina quality. That cannot be the normal workflow.

Don ́t get me wrong. A signal from Adobe that they understand this and plan to implement this in the next dot release would make me a happy customer again.

you can run lightroom in windows on your macbookpro retina at full resolution for everything, no retina support needed. ui is a bit small (windows lets you scale native ui elements but adobe uses their own). I'm assuming the hidpi support listed in LR5 for windows means the ui elements will be bigger.
