Hi Adobe Product Team,
I use Photoshop on my Windows PC and my Mac laptop. The disadvantage of working in Photoshop on Macs is that when I have a document maximized within Photoshop, any floating window gets hidden in the background while Photoshop--the application itself--is not maximized. It becomes very inefficient for me to view the other windows when they are covered up behind the application, since I like having multiple windows up for reference.
I noticed that if I float all the windows, they would remain on top but I would be unable to maximize the main document. If I float all the windows and then move or resize Photoshop to drag images from the desktop, the main document would cover up the panels. My request would be to have an option that would make the floating windows stay on top of the application while having the main document window maximized within Photoshop—which is the same as how it behaves in Windows. This would definitely make my workflow more efficient and productive.
FYI, I’m currently using Photoshop CC 2017.1.1 Release.
