Request: Luminosity Masking

I'd like to have a bit more control of my multiple exposures for HDR by having manual adjustment with Luminosity Masks in LR.  The auto HDR is wonderful, but there are times when more precise adjustments are needed.  I saw a presentation of the Lumenzia Photoshop Action and it would be wonderful if this technique could be adapted to LR in a nondestructive way.  Hope this makes the next upgrade as I know I've seen it discussed before...

Just to try to understand better what you think LR engineers could do—I use TK Actions in PS and agree that luminosity masks are wonderful, but obviously without access to channels, we can't make our own luminosity masks in LR.

Are you requesting that the engineers add a button each for Lights, Midtones, Darks, and then create a mask behind the scenes with our image data—I assume this will have to be in the local corrections area— and when we select one of them, LR automatically masks our image so we can brush our corrections into the mask?

I can't imagine LR getting a full complement of luminosity masks, so quite simple compared to using a very sophisticated panel such as the one from Tony Kuyper, or perhaps this Lumenzia you mention. And you want this because you don't want to edit in Photoshop? Don't have Photoshop?

Or are you suggesting they could create a full panel for luminosity masking—which they haven't done in PS, either?
